The OMG-standards-based languages (including UML, SysML and BPMN) will strengthen your ability to communicate with other analysts and follow engineering best-practice. The real power comes not from understanding their relatively simple syntax, but how to apply their techniques to meet the needs of real world projects. That takes extensive experience not easy to glean from books or manuals. It's this experience that our trainers will share and what makes our courses so effective.
4 days, systems engineering experience is not necessary but is beneficial
SysML provides the means to capture complex engineering systems. Most engineering projects use UML and SysML together. This course focuses on applying the SysML notation to a large real life case study in the context of an overall systems engineering process and integrating into existing processes. Attendees are encouraged to supply a case study based on their own working domain or project experience.

2 days, no previous experience required
Understand how to use BPMN modelling notation for Business Process Modelling, whether for gathering the results/ procedures in complex engineering systems or for traditional business analysis. Also covers the concepts of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and how BPMN is fundamental to capture business processes for automatic generation of BPEL.
Downloadable course details for Business Process Analysis using BPMN.
3 days, prior business analysis experience recommended
This course spends more time on advanced UML techniques instead of data gathering and is suited to experienced business analysts looking to use UML. Focus is on the full capture of business requirements to produce powerful business models. Covers constructing Business Process Models, Use Case Models, Domain (Class) Models and Statecharts as well as Object Oriented Design techniques using UML Interaction Diagrams and adapting them to general business analysis.

2 days, no previous experience required
Learn how UML is applied to a large and real life case study with plenty of practical exercises. Focus is on the Unified Process while examining and comparing different processes (waterfall, iterative, spiral) with an equal time on both analysis and design — perfect for putting UML and Object Orientation into the context of a full project lifecycle. This course gives you the key to object oriented design — knowing Design Patterns and how to apply them.

2 days, no previous experience required
Discover the power of UML in uncovering, analysing and documenting software requirements. An extensive hands-on and realistic case study helps you see how to build Business Process Models, Use Case Diagrams, Domain Models and Statecharts in real world context. You will gain familiarity with one of the major UML Case Tools and understand/ be able to create all of the major UML Analysis Diagrams.
